Misfit Sanctuary’s Annual Camping Retreat.
‘I am the Altar’ was inspired by Rowenna of the Glens’ song, I am the Altar. Which I was completely & totally hooked on at the time 🙂 It just seemed to perfectly convey our ideas for the Camp-out, so we just ran with it.
We are our own connection to the Divine. We only need our own Desire & Intent to convene with Deity. We are our own personal Altars, no tools required.
‘I am the Altar’ weekend is about getting back to basics & reconnecting with that Spirit that we hold deep within our physical shell. Thus allowing us to truly submerge ourselves with Deity, in turn we completely open ourselves to the Blessings of Divine.
This is also a weekend about Fun & Relaxation. Tubin’, playing in the River, woodland & shopping adventures, as well as hanging out around the Campfire are usually on our to-do lists. We are pretty much schedule free. Other than we will honor Full Moon with Ritual Saturday Night, which sometimes is right there in the River.
